Mix to Picture

Encompassing two suites and two studios, our 2 large control rooms are comfortable and complete with video projection and multi-channel audio capabilities. Our Digital Suite has seen literally thousands of projects while the studio can accommodate larger groups, multiple musicians/vocalists (drums anyone?) or your chosen VO talent.

Create the perfect backdrop

Creating the perfect environment to deliver your message, tell your story or build your brand can involve music, sound design, Foley, or just the perfect VO. Digital Groove offers A-List voice talent, a large selection of licensed music choices, sound FX/Design, audio branding and custom music that is uniquely yours.

Bring the team

Digital Groove's 2 large control rooms can easily accomodate 6-10 people comfortably. Both of our Russ Berger designed suites have large video projection, multi-channel monitoring and large windows to the studios for clear sight lines and pristine audio, so everyone can help craft the perfect take and the ultimate mix.

Dan has been captivated by music and sound recording since the age of 5. Formally trained on piano for 4 years as a child, his interest only grew after witnessing a performance of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in the 4th grade. Keyboards led to guitar, bass guitar, drums, etc. etc. Having access to Miami University’s incredible music facilities while gaining his Bachelor’s degree only sharpened his focus. Learning from projects in local commercial studios coupled with recording and live sound work with many local bands prompted “early adopter” participation in the home studio revolution of the late 80’s. Free of any commercial studio time restriction, Dan was able to hone his recording, multi-instrumental and compositional chops on many styles of music from Orchestral to Electronica to Jazz to Rock and everything in between.The explosive growth of broadband internet technology provided the genesis of Digital Groove Productions in 2000. Focused initially on immersive media for the Web, DGP’s service offerings expanded to also include custom audio, downloadable sound FX/music libraries, audio branding, sound design and multi-channel mixing services for agency, corporate, retail, hospitality and broadcast clients.Fast forward to today and the move to the downtown studio location in 2016, Digital Groove’s current trajectory is a natural progression in his life-long pursuit.When not working on music, Dan enjoys trying to keep up with his Triathlete wife (Ginger) and son (Austin), watching open-wheel racing, playing golf and working out.
